I bid you welcome all. To those my brother and sisters across the globe, and those that may, by God’s grace, soon be my brothers and sisters. I greet you at my technological door and bid you enter. Come! Come into my humble abode. For here I truly am at home. Language, communication, the spoken word . . . powerful things. It was words that created the world. Words that change the world. And it will be words that end it. My Lord and Savior has seen fit to bless me with some ability with words. I am humbled that He should choose me to be His tool, His instrument in this way. I am honored. Ah, yes. Speaking of honor, you will notice the name emblazoned upon this virtual mantle over my doorway.
We have a sad perspective of honor nowadays, and it is my goal to display, depict, describe, and most importantly, to represent honor in everything I do. That is not to say that at times, you may see things that are far from honorable here. You very well might, as I will not shy away from writing those things that come from within, and they are not always what they should be. I have no desire to display a facade. My every intention is to be transparent, and to present reality as it is through written and poetic form.
So, my friends. I thank you for spending your time with me. I anticipate a wonderful journey for us. My father God, and His Son, Jesus Christ are with us every step of the way, and we have the Comforter, the Holy Spirit to guide us – we shall not stray.
