As darkness fell, I sat upon the rooftop looking out across the city, and I could hear the faint sound of fireworks in the distance. So many were celebrating, drunk, and, even if only for a moment, happy. Yet simultaneously, Druid Feast Day was being celebrated by Satanists, Illuminati, occultists, and pagans the world over. They take many forms and have many names, but these groups all are worshiping the same god – Satan. He, too will have different names, but the source is the same. How many children, young boys and girls were crying tonight? How many had been stolen from their homes, soon to be sacrificed in demonic rituals? How many have been raised in the occult from birth, never knowing a father’s love, or a mother’s touch? I closed my eyes and imagined what God could see when He looked down upon us, and my heart cried out in pain at all the innocent blood that is shed, over and over. The cries of teenage girls, young boys, and infant children went up to the Lord, and His heart breaks for them. Needless to say, this New Years was not a night of celebration for me, but one of sober reflection, and even more sober expectation. The darkness is growing at an aggressive rate, and this coming year we will see the darkness in even more powerful ways. Satanism has never been stronger in the world. Every day more and more are brought in to covens. Even so, do not be fooled – the power of Jesus Christ is greater than all the powers of darkness combined. One drop of His shed blood was enough to deliver all mankind. So then, as He has done His work, it is up to us to continue that work as His ambassadors to the world. We are His hands and feet – we are His Body. Through us, He touches the nations. So then, read His Word, listen to His Voice, and be guided by His Holy Spirit. That we may be more than conquerors, that we may trample the Enemy beneath our feet, and see those who are lost come to salvation! May we stand in the gap and intercede on behalf of those who are unable to stand and blind to the destruction that awaits them. We must cease our whining and complaining. We must look outside of ourselves, and see the agony of so many around us! Let us get down on our knees and PRAY. Pray, and then pray again. Seek the Lord, seek for direction and understanding, and pray. The single greatest thing we can do to change things, is not to become a mayor, a doctor, a soldier, a police officer, a lawyer, or even a president – it is simply this, we can pray. Though of course, if God leads you to take such a position, then do so, by all means. But it is through intercession that the strongholds of the devil can be torn down, chains can be broken, and lives set free. So pray! Seek to educate yourself in the ways of God, first of all, but then ask the Lord to guide you and teach you how to wage war against our enemies! And do not be confused about who that really is. The Satanists, the occultists, they are not our enemies. For “we do not war against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12). We must seek to save those who practice these dark arts. We can pray that their horrible acts are stopped, whatever it takes, but our goal must be for their salvation, not revenge. However, to the demonic horde behind them? We must have no mercy for them. They have made their final and eternal choice to reject the Creator. As such they are beyond redemption, and we have the authority through Jesus Christ to destroy their works, and to cast them out. We must rise up and fight. The “Church” has abandoned her responsibilities, and has not educated her flocks. This is not being taught or preached from the pulpits, and it needs to be! Understanding the authority we have over demonic forces is something every new believer should be taught in the first six months of walking with the Lord. We do not need to be some elderly super-Christian to cast demons out of people! We must simply have the Spirit of God within us, and understand our authority. So let us go out, pray, learn, and act.
We are at War. The greatest War in all of human history. This is a pivotal moment in that War. Choose whom you will serve. And there is no middle ground. You are either with God or against Him (Matthew 12:30). Each one of us, no matter our background, no matter failures, no matter our weakness can be strong in the Lord. We each can rise up and defeat the Enemy. But, we must take that step of faith first. We must believe, we must repent, and we must surrender to Jesus Christ. As we willing choose to bow our knee, then our Father will set us up to soar on the wings of eagles (Isaiah 40:31). So stand in stark defiance of the darkness around us, clothed in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:13), and walk in victory and authority given to us by Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection. Praise the Lord. May His name be high and lifted up.
For those of you who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ – turn to Him, seek Him, and you will find Him. Seek for the Truth, and you will find Him. Let Him be your Lord and Savior, and you will find true, complete, and eternal salvation.
Be blessed by our heavenly Father, my brothers and sisters. May your New Year bring you closer to the likeness of our God and King. Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
